MY BEST FRIEND’S EX
New Adult STANDALONE Romantic Comedy
Quinn hasn’t disappointed ever since I picked up my first book by her. So I couldn’t wait to read My Best Friend’s –Ex her latest contemporary novel. As the title suggest it about a girl falling for her best friend ex. However things aren’t just simple as it seems and it is a beautiful story that will captivate you from start to finish .
Emma has grown up with Tucker and was a close friend because of his relationship with her best friend . However in recent times, things have been different until series of events find them back in each other lives and living together. Forcing the both of them addressed thing they have shield away from. However as times pasts, things start to cross boundaries neither of them are expecting. Things start to get sticky and hearts are on the line. Is Emma and Tucker willing to risk it all.
My Best Friend’s Ex is the type of sort I want to read. Well written and doesn’t make the book totally drama. Yes it can go two ways. But I loved how she didn’t make it soap drama style. I love how Quinn handle the whole the situation. She didn’t make it cliché and a hate fest with the best friend. Instead she told a story of two people who didn’t realise what was in front of them until it was till late. Tucker was a sweet heart. He knew what he wanted and that was forever. It wasn’t hard to fall for him considering his wishes and dreams. He was might of some scars because of his past but it only made the story stronger.
There was such a barrier in this story for a new adult novel. I was surprised with this book. It has such a depth that I had come to expect from the author along aside some typical Quinn humour. Quinn has defintely written another home run for her fans. It hard not to fall in love with her stories and I’m glad I squeezed this book in. It was well worth the time and
Born in New York and raised in Southern California, Meghan has grown into a sassy, peanut butter eating, blonde haired swearing, animal hoarding lady. She is known to bust out and dance if “It’s Raining Men” starts beating through the air and heaven forbid you get a margarita in her, protect your legs because they may be humped.
Once she started commuting for an hour and twenty minutes every day to work for three years, she began to have conversations play in her head, real life, deep male voices and dainty lady coos kind of conversations. Perturbed and confused, she decided to either see a therapist about the hot and steamy voices running through her head or start writing them down. She decided to go with the cheaper option and started writing… enter her first novel, Caught Looking.
Now you can find the spicy, most definitely on the border of lunacy, kind of crazy lady residing in Colorado with the love of her life and her five, furry four legged children, hiking a trail or hiding behind shelves at grocery stores, wondering what kind of lube the nervous stranger will bring home to his wife. Oh and she loves a good boob squeeze!
