After faced with crippling loss, a heartbroken raven must find her wings again…
Treasure hunters are trained to find things, but all Morgana has known is loss. When someone she loves dies because she can’t protect them, she shies away from the world, too afraid to let anyone else get close. That won’t last long because ravens aren’t ones to pass up on shiny things.
Cody has never really felt accepted. He’s a coyote shifter of Native American heritage, but he gets his looks from his Scandinavian mother, unlike his siblings and the rest of his people. That makes him all the more dedicated when what seemed like a freak tornado becomes something much scarier.
When Cody realizes that his family’s powerful talisman has slips into the wrong hands, he desperately needs help. But he never imagined he’d be fall head over heels for the beautiful, if not, mysterious treasure hunter. Morgana will need to let go of being hurt again if they have any hope of saving not only each other, but also the small town that they both love from disaster.
I love being on this tour as I have had the opportunity to read many new to me authors and discover some wonderful paranormal authors. The author of Moonlit Feathers is one of those authors.
Moonlit Feather is the story of Morgana who could be describe in a nut shell as a female version of Indiana Jones. She is a treasure hunter but of a late she dealing with grief when the one she thought was the one died. As she feels guilty that she couldn’t protect him.
Now she moved to Woodland Creek where he was form to try and to come to terms with his passing but she a raven shifter and we all know ravens can’t past shiny things.
However her latest discovery is about to set her on collision course with the coyotes who are Native Americans who precious talisman has gone missing and Cody needs to find it fast.
Cody is an outsider in his own race. He inherited his mother’s looks and he hated how things have worked out for him because of that.
However he is a determined man and he wants to find that talisman even though he hasn’t been always welcome with his family
Is Morgana find what he is looking for?
I loved the role reversal and how things played out with these characters. Thrown in some bad guys and a wizard who trying to help. It a fun adventure with a healthy dose of romance that paranormal fans will enjoy
Meet sexy bad-boy biker, Plymouth Crane. Owner of Crane Motorcycle and Repair by day. Pegasus shifter by night.
The super-sexy, beast of a man only has eyes for Paloma Foster. Coffee shop owner, and unknowingly, half-breed Pegasus shifter. Unfortunately, she’s also his ex. Every day his heart and his body push him to question his resolution to break up with her, to allow her to be “normal.” Especially when she finds another man.
Caught in a love triangle between two sexy men with too many secrets, Paloma remains ignorant of the shifter population of her hometown, Woodland Creek, Indiana, as well as to her own heritage. She begins her day with coffee and ends it with wine, all the while hoping to discover the truth of where her heart belongs.
Big plans are in store for the shifters of Woodland Creek, especially the only half-breed left in existence, Paloma Foster.
Love, secrets and lies make for a thrilling ride in Broken Wings.
Two words, childhood memories!
I never thought I would ever read a book about pegasus shifters . Well I have read unicorns so anything is possible and this book defintely fits that mould.
Plymouth and Paloma were meant to be together but couldn’t happened. As Plymouth wasn’t sure that Paloma could handle his secret and life.
So like a typical man he acted with his brain not his heart and now things are a mess.
He made he choice for her to leave a normal human life not realising they need to be to together. Yep there more to this relationship then your run of the mill story.
And it all up to them to sort things out.
They want to be together but Paloma has moved on and she is torn up. As the new guy in her life and he is making happy again but Plymouth seems to sneak into her mind time and time again.
What a girl is going to do?
Broken Wings is a must read if you are new to this author. There is so much intrigue and twists with this story that it will almost have your head spinning in a good way.
Whilst I loved the story overall
as you could say this more then a just second chance story. There is high stakes invovled and as a result I wanted their relationship take a back step as we didn’t need hear their thoughts right in the midst of an important scene that change things for the mystery/action pary of the story.
As otherwise it was perfect addition to Woodland Creek.
Anastasiya Petrov ran from her fate. The youngest of seven sisters and promised to one of the Princes of a rival pack, she refuses to be a bargaining chip. Instead, she flees to a remote area in the United States, changes her name to Tasia Connor, and settles into her new life.
Alex Chilikov might be an Estonian prince, but he was raised in the United States and loves it here, especially Woodland Creek, Indiana, where he’s followed close behind his bride-to-be. She might be able to hide who she is from the others, but he’d recognize her scent anywhere, and he plans to use his trickster abilities to help him obtain what he wants. He wants out from under his own father’s heavy thumb.
However, he’s not the only one searching for her. Her father has made some dangerous enemies, and though she continues to attempt to escape Alex’s protection, he’ll fight to keep her safe. Tasia will risk almost anything to keep her freedom, but only if she can resist a Wicked Jackal.
I was hoping this town had shifter royalty in the mix and I was excited to read this book because of the premise.
It defintely lived up to the premise and our heroine Anastasiya ‘Tasia’ is feisty to say the least.
Tasia is the youngest of seven girls and jackal royalty to boot and she been promised to a rival pack Prince she never laid eyes on.
Not something she is exactly happy about as Tasia isn’t going to submit to her father’s wishes.
So she runs off to Woodland Creek under the name of Tasia and settles down for a simple life in the USA working in a bakery.
However it is not that simple. Alex her husband to be has followed her on the orders of her father and back to Woodland his residence. He may be a Prince but this jackal is trying to do life on his terms and it hasn’t gotten to plan. As he and Tasia’s dad have enemies, enemies who want to get back at them. Any way possible….
Meaning whether she likes it or not. Tasia is stuck with him as Alex is determined to keep her safe which is easier said then done. As Tasia doesn’t want anything to do with him and rather be free of him.
Will he be able to wear her down to his ways?
I’m not familiar with jackals but like how the author choose a golden one which tied in with the royalty angle perfectly and I like Tasia. She isn’t pretentious or demanding
She wanted choices and I love how it played out as Alex was far from royalish you could get.
However Tasia wasn’t exactly interested in knowing
Wicked Jackel is another welcome book to this series. They may have hot and steamy scenes but they have a unique and intriguing stories and this book was no expectation.
