Title: Logan – A Preston Brothers Novel #2

Author: Jay McLean

Release Day: October 1, 2017

As a kid, Logan Preston was a brat.
Through his teens, he became the bad boy.
Now, at nineteen, no one knows what the hell to expect.

High school dropout, Logan Preston is a
good-for-nothing stoner.
A black sheep.
A disappointment.
The worst Preston Punk of the lot.
At least that’s how everyone in his small town
makes him feel.
But Logan Preston has secrets.
Secrets so dark and so deep below the surface that the only way he can fight them is to stay high, high, high.
He wears cockiness as a mask.
Arrogance as his armor.
Until one girl, one night, asks one life-changing question:
What’s beneath the bravado, Logan Preston?

I should know by now what to expect when I pick up a McLean book. It’s no secret that she isn’t all sunshine and rays with her books. There  is  given expectation that she will write a book that touches your soul and grabs it in the least expected way . Even so I’m never ready for the ride that McLean takes me on every time I pick up on of her books.   Especially for the story of Logan,  one of the adorable Preston punks we are  fell in love with a couple of years ago .

Now grown up , Logan is Trouble with a capital T. Drifting through life with no real meaning to it.  Logan lives the playboy lifestyle hard and has no qualms about letting others see it. His family obviously are concerned  but Logan doesn’t care. He has everything he has need or does he?

As there something more to Logan, there is a deep hidden side to him that hides behind the loveable Logan we all love. That you  wonder what really made him tick. Who is really Logan Preston?

Questioned by the last person you would expect to be . Aubrey a new arrival in town who doesn’t get   the behaviour  of this Preston Punk and the whole calamity surrounding this family  . Logan is left wondering is there more  to life then he ever thought.

A black sheep he maybe but he is a Preston.   Yet he far from acting like one….

The Preston family are special and it easy to see why readers fell in love with them in the More Than this series.  This latest instalment won’t disappoint as we return for another round of this family. . It’s typical Preston style  but with a depth you never expected . Mc Lean never disappoints and this why I’m sitting here lost for words . Logan  is what you expect yet it isn’t . I knew Logan would be the ‘Peter Pan’ of the group. The one who never grew up , it was easy to see from the blurb.  He was lost, he need a push.  He had the potential to become incredible, to be a man of substance. Something he could be proud of .

He needed to go through the emotions, he need to feel like the readers. He need to grow up and realise that was okay to feel like he did.  He needed Aubrey and she gave  the power that he need  and  much more.  Words can’t describe their relationship and their story.  All you need to do is jump in and watch this  story unfold.  Sit back and let the words of Mc Lean consume you.

Incredible powerful, Logan is a story that fans will fall in love with and embrace. Told with candour and guns blazing , Logan is a story not to be miss
