Beta’s Mark is a new anthology feature some of the hottest paranormal authors around today. As the title suggests these aren’t stories about alpha of the packs. It’s about their seconds  which is a position of respect and power

Beta Trials by Grace Meadows- Having read a number of Grace’s books before, I knew what I was in store for.  A hot steamy romance that didn’t disappoint with a unconventional hero and a heroine who wasn’t afraid to get what she wanted. Fast pace and with  plenty of twists and turns. You won’t disappointed with Grace’s Beta Trials

Megan’s Mate  by Tasmin Baker – This story  is part of  Borough boys and whilst this part of the series. It pretty standalone though I was confused by a minor thing but definitely will be checking out the other books . I loved the concept of the series and the idea the female was the Alpha in the relationship  though don’t worry  the Beta definitely knows how  use to his power.

Egyptian Destiny : The Weight of her Feather by Laura Hawks- This was my first book from Hawks and I enjoyed mythology surrounding this tale. It has been a while since I  read a good mythology tale and I enjoyed what Hawks did with the story. By incorporated archaeology into the tale , she gave it a real sense of authenticity

A Lion’s Claim by Sydney Lea – Another new to me author, I haven’t read her before . I loved  the idea that the female is totally oblivious to thing and the hero is a possessive guy who  wants to claim her and  have his  happily ever after . However  he throws her in to the deep and she goes on quite an adventure.

Protected by the Beta  by Bethany Shaw Might be one of my favourites  because of the uniqueness.  The hero is the last werewolf  of his bloodline and he knows his mate. But she a witch and she being target by the same people  because she is the last of her bloodline as well.  However there is more to this story and will leave you quite susprised by the end

Protective Instincts by Khole Wren . This one is different, the heroine and hero are already mated. Though the hero has some issues about things since she is currently heavily pregnant. It’s a snapshot of Conner and Tina’s life and it’s fast pace with plenty of action  . I believe it part of one of Wren’s series and will be definitely checking it out

Night Falls by Nicole Morgan

This story didn’t’ fit the anthology in my opinion. It was a good story but the story painted Paul to be the leader not the second in charge, the beta. Unless I was missing something.  It’s a minor thing really but I liked the concept of the story.  The heroine is a reporter who is trying to make a name for herself and Paul trying to keep things a secret. You get the idea.

Beta Down by Scarlett J Rose – This is a paranormal/dystopia tale and I loved the concept of this one. It was another of my favourites as I loved the story and I do hope this isn’t the end as there so  much potential for this story

Paxson- Call of the Beta by Kristen Ames – Is a tale from Wolves of Winsor Wood series. Another favourite, this revolves around secret and provides a thrilling adventure. That leaves you satisfied for now and with plenty of intrigue

The stories were either all four or five stars for me that why  I’m averaging it out to 4.5 couples. I loved the idea of this  anthology and I enjoyed the collection.
