Review: Train Wreck by T.Gephart @givemebooksblog and @tinagephart

Title: Train Wreck

Author: T. Gephart

Genre: Romantic Comedy

Release Date: July 10, 2017

synopsis

“No passion, no emotion, no originality—a train wreck of epic portions.”

Those were the words to describe Eve Thorton’s exhibition. Not even a fine arts degree from Yale or her daddy’s bank account could save her from the scathing reviews. And failure was a word Eve would never be comfortable with. Not even close.

Plotting the demise of every critic who’d written her off was her first instinct. But that would come later. Instead, she would show them that she wasn’t a bored socialite with more money than talent.

She would prove everyone wrong, and she wasn’t afraid to get her hands dirty. But when her journey for redemption crashed headfirst into Josh Logan, the sexy, talented tattooist from Queens, getting her hands dirty took on a whole new meaning.

Josh was everything Eve wasn’t, translating on skin what she couldn’t onto her canvas. All she had to do was convince him to share his jaw-dropping brilliance, and help her—seeing him naked—a bonus. Then she could go back to her regular life, vindicated.

It should have been easy. Pity her plans had a habit of derailing.

review

Gephart has done it again.   She keeps hitting it out of the ball park with her 2017 releases. If she isn’t on your radar yet, you are missing out .Gephart   embodies her readers and give us what we want . This year so far she has explored everyone fantasies with celebrities crushes  and made them true fiction style . Then  she step into another world and gave a novella that I  loved and couldn’t get enough of

To say the least Train Wreck was a highly anticipated release as a result . Gephart has really cemented herself in my books as a  standout reliable author  that won’t disappoint me in any way.  It why I  make sure to read and review her books. As  I want to support authors that make me keep doing what I love . Sharing the love for great amazing books  and in  return keep them  writing by getting the world out  . As Gephart ‘s writing will never get old for me and Train Wreck is a fine example of why.

Train wreck is classy contemporary done right  and nothing less I expect from Gephart.   You probably can image what this book is going to be like . As the title does  lead to a portrayal of a certain image. Well it does to a certain extent but  Gephart ‘s way.

Eve our heroine, is a trust fund socialite who is determined to  do things her way.  Determined to be a successful artist on her own accord with out any help . She never expected the words train wreck  in a review for  her collection to change her life for the better.

See this only the start of the upheaval to her life. We soon learn as the pieces to the puzzle fall into the place and enlighten  us  why Eve is making a such drastic journey to change things. As Eve isn’t  a bad person.  She just kept a too level head about her  art and work surprisingly  and  it  is coming crashing around her as her life become a train wreck.  As the  art review soon becomes yesterday bad news as she discovers her live in boyfriend in a compromising position.

The last  thing she needs. However just at this moment before her life become a real train wreck  and more bad news. Eve seizes the moment and  soon finds herself not becoming the train wreck in the way people expect.  As she isn’t with out sass  and wit we quickly learn and uses them to protect herself.

Two tools which soon lead her on a new journey and opening her mind to things she shied away from despite a new to conform to the old .  Taking a leap of faith thanks to the  chance of fate  that she was given .  Sees her going on a journey and meeting Josh a talented tattooist who  gives hopes to plans if she could to stick them.

She knew what she wanted and I love how she discovered Josh and open herself up to him. She showed that she wasn’t invincible as she made herself to be and need a helping hand.  They both were made for each other and allowed Eve to see the bigger picture that she was missing from her   art  life.  Josh

He maybe a talented artist who had the factor she was missing from her own art.  But he offered a temptation that she didn’t know what to do with  She didn’t want to have another train wreck and fall in to old habits.  But what if derailing  for one last time wasn’t such a bad thing?????

Train wreck won’t disappoint and show that  life may derail you and become a train wreck. But there always a silver linning.  In typical Gephart fashion she delivers a witty sassy story that you won’t get enough of and will leave you wanting more.

T Gephart is an indie author from Melbourne, Australia.

T’s approach to life has been somewhat unconventional. Rather than going to University, she jumped on a plane to Los Angeles, USA in search of adventure. While this first trip left her somewhat underwhelmed and largely depleted of funds it fueled her appetite for travel and life experience.

With a rather eclectic resume, which reads more like the fiction she writes than an actual employment history, T struggled to find her niche in the world.

While on a subsequent trip the United States in 1999, T met and married her husband. Their whirlwind courtship and interesting impromptu convenience store wedding set the tone for their life together, which is anything but ordinary. They have lived in Louisiana, Guam and Australia and have traveled extensively throughout the US. T has two beautiful young children and one four legged child, Woodley, the wonder dog.

An avid reader, T became increasingly frustrated by the lack of strong female characters in the books she was reading. She wanted to read about a woman she could identify with, someone strong, independent and confident and who didn’t lack femininity. Out of this need, she decided to pen her first book, A Twist of Fate. T set herself the challenge to write something that was interesting, compelling and yet easy enough to read that was still enjoyable. Pulling from her own past “colorful” experiences and the amazing personalities she has surrounded herself with, she had no shortage of inspiration. With a strong slant on erotic fiction, her core characters are empowered women who don’t have to sacrifice their femininity. She enjoyed the process so much that when it was over she couldn’t let it go.

T loves to travel, laugh and surround herself with colorful characters. This inevitably spills into her writing and makes for an interesting journey – she is well and truly enjoying the ride!

Based on her life experiences, T has plenty of material for her books and has a wealth of ideas to keep you all enthralled.
