This is a very sweet angst  second chance romance  that all began over a misunderstanding.  Van Dyken tells the tale of two people who were meant to be  but their nativity caused issues. Now older and wiser, it seems that people are tied of their hate between the two .   So  they have decided to take charge and make them realise what they have right front of them the whole time.

For years Margot and Bentley grew up together as best friends until things went pear shape in a instance. Since then Margot and Bentley have lived very different lives , avoiding each other till their grandparents decide to bring them back together whether they like it or not .

With  plenty of humour and fun,  The Playboy Bachelor doesn’t know what instore for him. When he follows his grandfather’s wishes and gets sold to Margot’s grandmother . As he knows things are going to be explosive, Margot  was his best friend for a good reason.  Their history was mostly good so was easy to see how they could be. Yet there was so much heartache over what happened and the years apart. Margot was a beautiful woman inside and out but Bentley really had hurt her and made think certain things.

He had his work cut out for him. He gain quite a rep in the meanwhile and none of it is working on Margot. She know him too well and quiet frankly I loved that she didn’t fall for him easily. . She made him work for it as Bentley was impulsive. As much as he was fun and charming, he need to be taken down a little bit to  see what he had done.

As this relationship was going no where and need to be rescued. They need to fix what was wrong but when there too much hurt . Is there a chance to recapture what was lost . As forcing them together can only do so much.   Both of them have very strong ideas about things and need them both on the same page. Told in third perspective this second chance story is one not to be missed for those who enjoy a character  driven second chance story with a heartwarming tale.
