I have already mentioned in another post my Goals but never hurts to have a reminder of them as we are half through January already and I’m failing definitely on some….
Read a 1000 books as we got to have a crazy goal right?
I tried this a couple years ago and failed spectacularly and but I’m giving this another go this year and give it a good go. If you want to follow my adventures, feel free to add me on Goodreads. I’m always open to new friends
Get in to a routine with blogging.
For most of the time I have been blogging, I have been flying by the seat of my pants. I have tried a few options but nothing has made me stick to a routine. However it’s a new year and I’m determined to get into a schedule so I have more time for reading of course . And so far I have managed to do it
Restore posts earlier then May 2017.
Last year my blog went into a meltdown and I nearly lost over five years of this blog. Luckily for me I managed to recover them but I haven’t gotten around to upload most of the posts to the blog and it feels like my blog is missing a part of me.
Do more discussion posts
This is straight forward but in the last couple of years. I haven’t been doing these posts or memo ones. I missed doing them and I’m determined to do a year of TTT
Feature and review more non review books.
A bulk of my reading is books I read just for fun and I have found some gems over the years that I want to shout to world just read them.
Keep track of what I receive for review
I have a good general idea but does gets crazy at certain points of year and I have 2017 review copies I want to read still.

Finding a good routine with blogging is something I SO need to do. Instead, for example, the book review I plan to publish tomorrow needs to be finish, formatted, and scheduled still – all of which I’ll be working on up until I hit that publish button. Perhaps 2018 will be a great year for those of us who’d like to find that good schedule. 🙂
Discussion posts are always great, and like you, those are something I’d like to write more of to.
Happy 2018 – and best of luck with your goals!! 🙂

I love good discussion posts. The problem is finding people who are willing to discuss.
I really hope that you manage to find a routine with the blogging. I used to have a routine and I made me feel so super organised! 1000 books! Woah! That’s some goal! I hope you achieve these goals.

Finding a routine for my blogging is something that I am trying to do this year too. Right now, I’m not sure what that is, but I am working on it 🙂 Discussion posts are another priority for me as well — there are so many lovely discussion posts out there, I get a wee bit intimidated that I’m not going to be adding anything of consequence *face palm*
Do more discussion posts is one I want to do too. and sorry to hear you lost so many posts- how frustrating! Good luck with that one and all the restl! Scheduling is an area I want to put more effort into as well.

Nice goals! I can’t even imagine reading 1000 books in a year. I hope you’re able to a lot of TTT posts this year! Here is our Top Ten Tuesday
OK, I tip my hat to you – 1,000 books! Wow and wow! Good luck! Discussion posts are great – though I don’t think about doing them very often. They often make me think when others do them. And sorry about losing past posts – hope you can get them again.

Organization is key for me in 2018. Trying bullet journaling and so far so good but it’s still early. Good luck with 1000 books – gotta love it!

1000 books? I can’t even reach 200! That’s been my goal for years and I’ve never achieved it. Think 2018 might be my year?? Here’s hoping.
Good luck with your resolutions. Happy TTT!

I too want to organise my blog and keep up with all the scheduling 😀 And yes reading backlist books is the priority for me this year. And 1000 books?? Woah, you go girl 🙂 But I am wondering, how do you even do that?
I hope you accomplish all of your goals this year 🙂
This week I have posted my top ten bookish pet peeves.

Oh no! That sucks your blog had a meltdown. Good thing you could salvage some.
Great goals! Best of luck.
I could definitely develop a better routine with blogging! It’s one of those things I mean to do but just never make time for. Good luck with your goals!
YES! A routine with blogging should’ve been one of my main goals! I’ve recently just stepped back into the book-blogoverse, and while I’m know to start off REAL strong, I tend to taper off as the months go because I get disappointed with my efforts, or just plain old worn out with it. >.< But I think if I make a real effort to reach out to other blogs, I might get a better outcome than what I've received in the past!
Hi! A routine with blogging really helps! Great goals 🙂

Good luck with your goals! A blogging routine is very important, though I`m often guilty of neglecting it. But I do want to do better in 2018, be a better blogger and interact more.
